Orders under $50 have a delivery charge of US$4.95.
Orders from $45.05 to $50 are rounded up to $50.
Our shopping cart system will automatically insert the correct delivery charge.
If we cannot fulfill all your order, we will not charge you extra delivery on the initial shipment. We will notify you when unavailable books become available and let you know how much the shipping will be on these "backordered" items.

Many books, all maps, and sheet music can be shipped within 2-3 working days after you place your order.
All music supplies and hard to find books from the US are special ordered into our Phoenix AZ offices and are usually shipped within 3-12 days.
Books shipped in specially from England may take 14 days for us to ship.
Books from Germany typically take 14 days to ship from Phoenix. Books from Spain may take 3 weeks to 2 months to obtain and ship.
Shipping is by UPS Ground or US Priority Mail in the USA which can take from 2-7 days from the time of despatch (East Coast being 5-7 days).
If you have a PO Box or other address to which UPS cannot deliver, we automatically convert shipping to US Priority Mail. We ship airmail to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and APO addresses all of which receive regular US pricing.
You may e-mail us to request faster shipping
for which we charge the actual UPS delivery cost.
We use regular airmail or DHL WorldMail to Canada as we find this most effective in minimizing Customs import delays.
The high cost of airmail to Canada obliges us to add 10% to all Canadian orders to cover this extra cost. The Shopping Cart will compute and advise this extra delivery charge for Canada.
Neither of these carriers to Canada provide tracking or insurance.
We can insure your shipment for an extra 10% applied at time of invoicing.
If you require insurance, add a note in the comments section of the Order Form.
Your credit card is charged only when the books are despatched.

USA - We do NOT charge any Sales Taxes to any customer.
We accept responsibility for, and pay, any Sales Taxes on your behalf.

Canada - We believe that GST is applicable on the import of books. In most cases, no tax is charged on small packages. Larger orders may attract the interest of Customs authorities.
Note from the following that even small value shipments of books are taxable.

The Excise Tax Act creates consumption or sales tax, among other things.
Schedule VII of Part IX of the Act lists items that will be non-taxable when imported to Canada.
Section 7 of this schedule eliminates the GST on goods valued at not more than $20 and sent by mail or courier to a recipient in Canada, other than goods prescribed by regulation.
The Mail and Courier Imports - GST - Regulations set out four categories of imported goods that will be taxable, even if they are valued at less than $20:

We should point out that the Canadian Post Office does on occasion impose a C$5 clearance charge
in addition to the applicable GST.

Australia - No taxes are charged on your order.
As the items are sent directly to you from our US corporation, the GST taxing point arises when the goods arrive in Australia.
You, the customer, are the importer of the goods for the purposes of GST, but we have advice from the ATO that GST will not be collected:
For your future reference please note that some importations into Australia will not be subject to GST. ... The concession is available for goods sent by the postal system with a value not exceeding $1000. This is known as the 'screen free' concession.
For the above reasons, we do NOT add GST to your order and do NOT provide a GST invoice.

New Zealand - We do not believe that GST is applicable on the import of books. In most cases, no tax is charged on small packages. Larger orders may attract the interest of Customs authorities, but books are supposed to be untaxed by international treaty (The Berne Convention).
