Ordinary cable jacks are often made of inferior material and usually have only one contact point, resulting in unstable connections and annoying static. Planet Waves 1/4” cable jacks are made from beryllium copper, which lasts much longer than ordinary stamped steel, and have multiple contact points for each connection. The plug construction includes two points of contact each for the tip, ring, and sleeve of the plug, preventing movement, eliminating static, and maximizing signal transfer. Plus, Planet Waves 1/4" cable jacks are the only jacks that are gold-plated. Can be used for stereo and mono applications.
