Produced by a group of scientists from the chemistry department of Xiamen U., China (as well as one author from the Chinese Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources), this work contains data and profiles of high-resolution interferant spectra among rare earth elements (REEs). The aim of the book is to allow scientists to choose appropriate analytical spectral lines for the determination of REEs. Coincidence evaluation parameters for various elements are presented along with spectral coincidence profiles. The CD-ROM contains a program used to load the interferant spectra of arbitrarily selected REEs matrices around a selected prominent line.Using high resolution spectra, this atlas enables users of ICP-AES to select the best lines of any single rare earth element matrix.
